The legendary house of Louis Vuitton has been around since 1854. Since then, the fashion house has expanded from trunks and suitcases to a large fashion empire creating timeless handbags and accessories.
Goyard did not start out as Goyard, back in 1792, Pierre-Francois Martin founded the ‘House of Martin’. A company that was specialized in trunk- and box making. While other luxury brands like Gucci and Louis Vuitton spends hundreds of thousands of dollars on advertising, Goyard spends nothing. They don’t focus their attention on fashion shows or influencers and rarely speak to the press. Goyard focuses on artisanal craftsmanship and keeps a very limited supply of inventory.
