With the culmination of the July 22nd auction, the Luxury Handbag and Accessories department, led by Abigail Goodman and Brooke Friedman, reported record breaking sales for the division. With 60 lots and over 27,000 registered bidders, this was the most robust sale to date, boasting a 50 percent sales increase per lot compared to the past May and June auctions.
The auction consisted of handbags and accessories from Hermès, Chanel, Louis Vuitton, Gucci and more, with many items surpassing auction estimates. Referenced below are some of the top lots from the July 22nd auction.
