The Prep

Our team of experts will work with you to sort, catalogue, photograph, appraise and describe each item to be sold. We’ll then upload the sale to our website and auction partners

The Auction

Depending on the number of lots, your items may be included in one of our gallery auctions or featured as a stand-alone sale. Bids are accepted for up to 14 days, maximizing the value you receive for each lot sold. After the sale closes, Alex Cooper collects payment, delivery and shipping.

The Proceeds

After the sale, we’ll handle all item removal from the property and provide a settlement check within 30 business days. This approach maximizes the value you receive while minimizing time and costs.

Many of the homes we advertise for auction are presold before the day of sale. If necessary, Alex Cooper can auction a home quickly – which can be particularly helpful if money is needed to cover medical expenses or the cost of assisted living.

If a traditional brokerage sale is preferred, as licensed real estate agents, Alex Cooper can multiple list your property. In addition, we have a network of buyers who are interested in older, “fixer upper” properties. Either way, we do our utmost to get the best price for your home.

Moving & Cleaning Out

Preparing to move can be a very time-consuming and exhausting task to deal with. Why not let us handle it for you? We’re familiar with the local overs and work with them often. We maintain excellent working relationships with a number of reputable movers, allowing us to quickly and easily coordinate and schedule a move. We can also arrange temporary or permanent storage if necessary.

Even after the auctions and sales have ended, there may still be items left in the home. An Alex Cooper Estate Specialist can arrange a clean out of the home, donating items to charity and disposing what can’t be sold or given away.
